Join the exclusive EADV Symposium in Malta! Every year, the EADV Spring Symposium presents a great opportunity to meet with colleagues from Europe and beyond and to directly engage onsite with the speakers presenting the latest updates in dermatology and venereology.

Please note that the 2024 EADV Symposium is an in-person event only, with no on-demand content being made available.

The EADV 2024 Symposium ticket includes:

  • Access to e-posters area
  • Access to Satellite Symposia Sessions
    ? Industry Session organisers could limit participation to certain representative groups independently from EADV recommendations if deemed imperative to the achievement of the intended purpose of the industry session. The organising company reserves the right to refuse single categories, in particular if not adequately related to the objective and purpose of the session.
  • Possibility to collect ECMEC Credits on participation in the EADV Scientific Sessions

How to register

1. Individual registration

The registration must be processed only through the official online registration system.
Before processing the registration, check out your registration category.

To manage the registration, LOGIN to your existing account, otherwise please select CREATE ACCOUNT

Active EADV Members benefit from a preferential rate. The only way to take advantage of this rate is to log in to the system using the email address and password linked to the membership account, i.e. the same email address and password used to log into MyEADV.

Any participant who wishes to register online as a Trainee (< 35 years old), a Student (<35 years old) or a Nurse/Medical Assistant is required to upload a Proof of Status to validate the registration.

Online registrations for these special categories are only possible until Wednesday, 27 September 2023.

Any special requests must be sent to the Registration Department (registration@eadvcongress.org) no later than Wednesday, 27 September 2023.

2. Third party registration

(up to 9 participants)

Third-Party registrations are open to individuals or companies in charge of the registration of 1 to 9 participants.To manage the registration, Login to your personal account or select Create Account.Do not register using someone else’s credentials.You will then be the Registration Owner (contact person) and the only one entitled to put forward any requests concerning the registration(s) (such as name changes) and receive documents such as QR code vouchers, invoices, etc. A Third-Party processing the registration directly from the participant’s account is not considered the Registration Owner.

Important TIPS:

  1. Use your personal account for the login, click on the panel “Individual and Third Party Registration” and select the option “Register or book tickets for someone else
  2. Insert the active (private or working) email address of your client at this stage only
    ?In case the person is an EADV Member, make sure that the email address inserted at this stage is the one connected to their EADV membership account, otherwise they will not benefit from preferential rates.
    . (This allows them to download their personal certificates after the congress). Do not use fake email addresses.
  3. In order to register a Trainee (< 35 years old)Student (<35 years old)Nurse or a Medical Assistant, please upload the valid documents to validate the registration. Online registrations for the above-mentioned categories are only possible until Wednesday, 27 September 2023.
  4. Any special requests must be sent to the Registration Department (registration@eadvcongress.org) no later than Wednesday, 27 September 2023. Any requests received after this date will not be considered.

3. Group registration

(10+ participants)

Group registration is possible for groups of 10+ participants. This number can be reached through different orders.
A group with less than 10 participants have to be processed through a Third-Party Registration.,

In order to be validated, a Group Registration needs to meet the following conditions before the selected deadline:

  • Congress tickets are paid in full
  • Each ticket bought is assigned to an attendee (blank tickets/registration are not allowed)

Registrations not adhering to these rules will not be considered valid.

Before starting a Group Registration, make sure you have collected all the below mandatory information for each of your participants since no blank registrations are allowed:

  • Email address
    The active email address (business or private) of each delegate is mandatory.
    For EADV Members
    : please make sure that you have been given the email address connected to the EADV membership account: the online registration system can recognize an EADV member only by this information.
  • GENDER
  • First and Last Name
  • Date of birth
  • Country
  • Company (they work for)
  • Registration Category (check here the correct category)
  • Status as Healthcare Professional (HCP) or Non-Healthcare Professional (NON-HCP) (learn more here)

Additional information

  • The Group Leader’s contact email address cannot be changed during the registration period.
  • The Group Leader manages the registration of the Group and is responsible for communicating with their attendees. The registration team will not contact your attendees directly and will not provide any documents to your delegates.
  • By processing a Group registration, the Group Leader is entitled to:
    • Process name changes individually at no extra charge (please check our Name Change Policy)
    • Download the singular QR code vouchers of each attendee
    • Apply and receive invitation letters for each attendee
    • Download excel exports including the list of registered attendees and paid fees
    • Apply for Group pick-up of the badges: by appointment only, you can pick up all the badges included in your group registration the day before the congress.
      Since places are limited, please book your pick-up in advance by Wednesday, 27 September 2023 to group@eadvcongress.org

Certificates

Attendees are the only entity/person entitled to download their personal documents.
Certificate of attendance, CME-CPD certificate and e-Poster certificate are not available for Group Leaders and Third Parties.

After the event, participants will be able to download their certificates based on their level of engagement. Please find additional information on the website (Scientific section) or directly contact scientific@eadvcongress.org

Registration Policy

Cancellation by the applicant

Applicants whose order form has been accepted by EADV cannot cancel and all agreed-upon amounts remain due and payable. Under exceptional circumstances represented in writing by the Applicant to EADV, EADV may at its sole discretion, under no obligation, release the Applicant.
The cancellation can be requested until 30 June 2023. After this date, no refunds will be issued.
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (by email only) to the Registration Department (registration@eadvcongress.org / group@eadvcongress.org).

Refunds

Cancellations received by 30 June 2023 and approved by EADV will be refunded according to the method of payment chosen at registration.
A EUR 50 cancellation fee per cancelled ticket will be applied to all refunds.
Refunds via bank transfer:

  • The participant’s country of residence (or the location of the company performing the registration) must be the same as where the bank is located.
  • All bank charges are at the expense of the participant (or of the company registering the participant).
Refunds by credit card:
  • Will be performed exclusively on the Credit Card used to settle the online payment.

Important information about refunds:

  • All refunds are processed within 2 months after the end of the event.
  • Refunds are not issued in case a visa application has been rejected by an embassy/consulate.
  • No refunds for unattended meetings or early termination of attendance by the Applicant can be processed.
  • In case of double payment, refund requests must be accompanied by a valid proof of the duplicated payment.
  • Participants submitting and paying their registration incorrectly are not entitled to reimbursement. For example, participants registering as Non-Members and (at a later stage) becoming EADV Members will not receive a reimbursement of the difference between the two fees. Or in the case of creating a new profile and registering as Non-Members despite being active Members.
    This rule also applies to Third-Parties/Group Leaders processing the registration for their delegates incorrectly. Please double-check the correct email addresses provided to you and make sure to register with the ones linked to the EADV Membership.
    In case of an issue with the membership renewal, please contact membership@eadv.org.
  • Group Leaders purchasing an incorrect number of tickets, selecting a wrong ticket type or processing double registrations are not entitled to reimbursement.

Name Changes for Individual & Third-Party

  • The cost of a Name Change is EUR 30.
  • Name Changes are possible until Wednesday, 27 September 2023 only (midnight CEST). Therefore, no Name Change requests are accepted after the mentioned date.
  • Name Changes can be requested by the Registration Owner only.
  • Name Changes for individuals should be done between delegates of the same registration category.

In the case that there is a difference between the ticket rates (for example, in case a member is transferring their ticket to a non-member) the difference in fees must be settled. In case a higher fee was already paid, refunds cannot be made.

  • For third-party tickets, Name changes might be processed for 25% of the participants registered under the Owner Account only. Please send an email to registration@eadvcongress.org.
  • Name Changes should be done between delegates of the same registration category. For example, if an EADV Member is substituted by a Non-Member, the difference in registration fee must be paid, however, if an EADV Member replaces a Non-Member, the registration fee is not refunded. This applies to all categories.

Name Changes for Group

  • Name changes can be requested for 25% of the tickets purchased at no extra charge.
  • Name Changes must be done between delegates of the same registration category.
  • Ticket distribution should be managed personally by the Group Leader:
  • Before the deadline, Group Leaders are able to reassign a previously distributed ticket.
  • After the deadline, tickets already DISTRIBUTED cannot be re-DISTRIBUTED by the Group Leader.
  • Name Changes are possible until Wednesday, 27 September 2023 only (midnight CEST). Therefore, no Name Change requests are accepted after the mentioned date.
  • Individual and Third-Party registrations are confirmed only upon valid online registration and receipt of full payment.
    Group registrations are confirmed only when the attendee list has been filled in online and the full payment has been received.
  • To ensure the desired registration fee (early-bird/mid-rate tickets), payment and all mandatory documents (such as Proof of Status, copy of passport, medical license, etc.) must be received by the published deadline.
  • Unpaid orders are cancelled without further notification once the deadline has passed.
    Previously distributed tickets in a group registration that have not been paid by the deadline will be automatically cancelled.
  • Once an invoice is issued, it can no longer be amended.
  • A handling fee of EUR 20 is charged for any administrative change or update in the registration.
  • If any difficulties arise during the event, all requests/discrepancies should be submitted by email to registration@eadvcongress.org or group@eadvcongress.org after the event; decisions will be made and communicated 2 months thereafter.
  • Any specific requests concerning Group registration will not be discussed during the event for any purpose.
  • EUR 20 will be charged to the participant for the change of status from “Non-Healthcare Professional” to “Healthcare professional” (and vice versa)
  • Participant-type change requests will not be considered on-site. For example, the INDUSTRY PARTICIPANT category cannot be replaced by a DELEGATE category (and vice versa). This rule also applies to Third-Party/Group registrations processed incorrectly.
  • Group registrations on-site are not possible. However, group registration is available online.
  • EUR 80 will be charged to the participant on-site in case the participant’s badge is forgotten, stolen or lost. Reprinting, if necessary, is only possible once, upon proof of such circumstances.

These general policies are part of the registration Terms of Use published on this website, which are to be considered the legal basis for all registrations. Verbal agreements are not binding unless they are later confirmed in writing.
