Invited speakers are individuals who have been formally invited by the EADV to participate as Speakers and/or Chairs in one or more sessions belonging to the following session types:
Plenary sessions ↓
Plenary lectures are EADV show-case sessions and include key-note lectures delivered by eminent scientists and doctors.
Focus on ↓
This session aims at providing comprehensive in-depth coverage of a certain topic in dermatology. Your talk will be included in sessions on pathophysiology/epidemiology, clinical challenges, or practical aspects of disease management and should provide the latest cutting-edge information.
Updates ↓
The aim of your lecture should be to enable participants to update their knowledge on a specific topic and hear about the most relevant and recent developments, guidelines and practical knowledge of the past year. Therefore, we kindly ask you to structure your presentation as follows: at first a small summary on the understanding of the subject, followed by an update of the most recent novelties with their impact on the clinical practice.
Controversies ↓
Controversial topics in dermatology will be discussed from opposing points of view in the form of a debate, giving the public an extensive knowledge on the topic.
Training and Education ↓
These are state-of-the-art lectures focusing on a specific disease and should include basic information about epidemiology, pathophysiology, diagnosis, management and prognosis. Target audience of your presentation will be young Dermatology trainees and residents as well as Dermatologists that want to refresh their basic knowledge on specific topics. Your presentation should start with a slide stating the “learning objectives” and end with a slide stating the “take home messages”. Your presentation should also contain presentations of classical illustrative clinical cases along with some challenging cases.
Your presentation is supposed to be interactive, with multiple-choice question made to the audience in accordance with the subjects treated in your talk.
Please include in your PPT presentation 2-3 multiple-choice questions by “data” along with the different answers’ options (and of course the correct answer).
We kindly ask you to submit/check your presentation and your voting questions latest 3 hours before the session starts at the Speaker Preview Room. Our technicians will brief you on how to operate the voting.
Miscellaneous ↓
The miscellaneous track includes a variety of scientific sessions featuring contributions from selected task forces and committees, as well as sessions related to JEADV and other topics of scientific and educational interest.
Workshops ↓
Workshops are a great opportunity to immediately implement newly learned skills, to gain practical experience and quickly acquire knowledge on the subject. Workshops also promote interaction between instructors and participants.
SPEAKERS' LOUNGE
As an invited speaker you have access to the Speaker’s Lounge, which offers a working area and light refreshments. It is located in Room 0.12, on ground level (level 0) of the Austria Center Vienna.
ACCOMMODATION
As invited guest, you have the opportunity to receive a complimentary night’s stay (1 night) sponsored by EADV. To take advantage of this offer, we kindly request that you make a reservation at one of the hotels recommended by our official congress housing agency.

- ORAL PRESENTER
Oral presenters are the presenting authors of abstracts that have been accepted for an oral presentation either within the Free Communications or Clinical Cases sessions.
ORAL PRESENTATION SESSIONS
FREE COMMUNICATION sessions will take place on Thursday, 1 October, and Friday, 2 October, in Hall N, on level 1 of the Austria Center Vienna (ACV).
CLINICAL CASES sessions will take place on Saturday, 3 October in Hall N, on level 1 of the Austria Center Vienna (ACV).

REGISTRATION
EADV requires all presentations to be delivered in person at the Austria Center in Vienna. To access the venue and present your research, you will need a valid registration ticket (at least a one-day ticket valid for the day of your presentation).
- SUBSPECIALTY SPEAKER
Subspecialty Speakers are speakers participating in Subspecialty and International Society sessions. These scientific sessions are developed and managed by the respective societies and are included in the Congress Scientific Programme following approval by the EADV Scientific Programming Committee.
SUBSPECIALTY SESSIONS
Subspecialty Sessions will take place during the following time slots:
- Wednesday, 30 September, from 8:30 to 10:00 and from 10:15 to 11:45
- Saturday, 3 October, from 14:15 to 15:45 and from 16:00 to 17:30

REGISTRATION
As a Subspecialty Speaker, the EADV will arrange a complimentary registration for you, valid only on the day of your presentation.

1. Scientific programme
As the programme is subject to change, we strongly recommend that you verify the date, time, and room of your presentation in the Scientific Programme prior to the Congress.In addition, we kindly invite you to tailor your presentation to your session format.

3. Presentation requirements
MS-PowerPoint (*.ppt and *.pptx) with a screen ratio of 16:9 (landscape).
If you use videos, please don’t forget to upload them as separate files. The EADV also requests the protection of patient identity and integrity in any material used by you.
4. Presentation submission
ONLINE: Approx 2 weeks before the event, our service provider M-Events (email: [email protected]) will instruct you on how to upload your presentation and fill out your conflict-of-interest form.
ONSITE: Provide the final version of your presentation on a memory stick and submit it to the speaker preview room at least 3 hours before your session.
