Antonio Torrelo

Biography
Dr. Antonio Torrelo is Head of the Department of Dermatology in the Children’s Hospital del Niño Jesús in Madrid since 2007. He acted as President of the Spanish Group for Pediatric Dermatology (2001-2004), the European Society of Pediatric Dermatology (2017-2019) and the International Society of Pediatric Dermatology (ISPD) (2013-2017). He was President of the World Congress of Pediatric Dermatology in Madrid, 2013. Dr. Torrelo was Editor-in-Chief of Actas Dermosifiliográficas (2002-2006), and is Associate Editor of Pediatric Dermatology (2007-present). He belongs to the Editorial Board of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology (2010-2013 and 2018-present).

Eduardo Nagore

Biography
Dr. Eduardo Nagore is the Section Chief of the Melanoma Unit in the Department of Dermatology in the Instituto Valenciano de Oncología in València, Spain, since 2009 and a professor at the Universidad Católica de Valencia San Vicente Mártir since 2012. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Actas Dermosifiliográficas since 2018 and Associate Editor of several peer-reviewed journals, including Cancers (2019-present), Actas Dermosifiliográficas (2014-2018) and JEADV Clinical Practice. He acted as a Board Member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) (2017-2021) and Member of the Scientific Programming Committee of the EADV (2018-present).

Simone Garcovich

Biography
Simone Garcovich is an Italian dermatologist. He graduated his medical studies at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in 2003 and completed his residency in Dermatology. He continued his path as PhD and clinical researcher at the department of Dermatology of the Fondazione Policlinico Universitario A. Gemelli in Rome from 2008 to 2021. He is currently Associate Professor of Dermatology at Unicamillus-International medical university in Rome, Italy. His main fields of research are chronic pruritus, neutrophilic diseases, hidradenitis suppurativa and hair-follicle diseases, including alopecia and hair-loss, with a focus on regenerative therapeutic approaches.


Matilde Iorizzo
(Dermatology Practice, Lugano/Bellinzona, Switzerland)
Biography
Dr. Iorizzo is a dermatologist specialized in hair and nail diseases. She earned her MD, completed her residency, and obtained her PhD at the University of Bologna (Italy). For the past 20 years, she has been practicing in Switzerland, serving patients in the areas of Bellinzona and Lugano. Additionally, Dr. Iorizzo is a lecturer at USI Faculty of Biomedical Science and at the School of Podiatry, both located in Lugano. She authored multiple papers and book chapters on hair and nail diseases and co-authored two books on nails. She is a member of the Editorial Board for Skin Appendages Disorders and a Hair-Nail Section Editor for Dermatology Practical and Conceptual Journal. Furthermore, she holds leadership positions in various organizations, including the role of vice president of the European Nail Society and the coordinator of the Swiss Trichology Study Group.


Nicolas Kluger

Biography
Nicolas Kluger is a French dermatologist. He graduated in medicine in Paris in 2002, completed his dermatology residency and worked as an Assistant in dermatology in Montpellier. He earned a PhD at Helsinki University Hospital studying APECED syndrome. Later he worked as a practitioner in the Skin and Allergies Hospital and as an Assistant Professor in Dermatology and Venereology in Helsinki. He currently practices privately in Helsinki and consults weekly at Tampere University Hospital. In 2017, he launched France’s first tattoo consultation at Bichat Hospital, Paris. His interests include body-art–related health issues, internal medicine, skin diseases and the sociocultural aspects of dermatology. He is the author of nearly 450 indexed articles and several textbook chapters and is a member of the French Society of Dermatology, the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, and serves on the editorial boards of JEADV, Les Annales de Dermatologie et de Vénérologie, and Images en Dermatologie.


Aimilios Lallas
(Aristotle University, Thessaloniki, Greece)
Biography
Aimilios Lallas is an Associate Professor of Dermatology at the First Department of Dermatology of Aristotle University in Thessaloniki, Greece. He is specialized in skin cancer diagnosis with non-invasive techniques, as well as in the management of skin cancer patients. Dr Lallas is currently the President of the International Dermoscopy Society. His main field of research interest is dermoscopy of skin tumors, the application of the method in general dermatology and the improvement of the management of oncologic patients.


Charles Taieb
(EMMA, Patients Priority, Paris, France)
Biography
Dr. Charles Taieb is a doctor with expertise in “Burden of Skin Disease” and health policy. He began as a clinical research associate and later worked in the pharmaceutical industry’s health economics. His career has been marked by a focus on patient experiences in dermatology, particularly atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, acne and rares skin disease. He played key roles in dermatology projects, including managing the “Objectif Peau” project . Dr. Taieb set up the “Burden of Skin Disease” project for the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, establishing a vast European database on skin diseases. He also initiated the “Printemps des maladies chroniques inflammatoires de la peau”, bringing together patient associations. Dr. Taieb’s work, comprising over 100 scientific articles, has significantly advanced the field of medical humanities research in dermatology.


Mar Llamas-Velasco
(Hospital Universitario De La Princesa, Madrid, Spain)
Biography
Mar Llamas-Velasco is a Spanish dermatologist. She graduated from medical studies in Valladolid in 2006 and completed her residency in dermatology and venereology at Hospital Universitario de la Princesa. She currently serves as a full-time practitioner at that hospital, with a special focus on immunomediated skin diseases, skin lymphomas, and dermatopathology. Additionally, she actively participates in clinical assays and collaborates with the pharmacology and immunology department. She is an associate professor of Dermatology at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, a former coordinator of the Spanish group of Dermatopathology, and a member of the AEDV committee. She also holds editorial roles in Actas Dermosifiliográficas and JAMA Dermatology.


Alexander Zink
(Technical University of Munich, Munich, Germany)
Biography
Prof. Dr. Alexander Zink is a consultant physician and board-certified dermatologist at the Department of Dermatology and Allergy at Technical University of Munich. He studied medicine in Mainz and Munich (Germany), London (UK) and Harvard Medical School (USA) and obtained his MD degree from the Technical University of Munich and a PhD in medical research at the Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, Germany. Prof. Dr. Zink specializes in chronic skin diseases, public health and digital medicine with a focus on wearables and crowdsourced data, prevention and people-centered-healthcare as well as patient- and population-based burden of diseases.
