Trichoscopy

Trichoscopy (hair and scalp dermoscopy) is an easy in-office diagnostic method for hair and scalp diseases. Any handheld or digital dermoscope may be used to perform trichoscopy. Trichoscopy may be applied in non-cicatricial and cicatricial alopecia, as well as in diseases of internal organs associated with hair loss. This course is designed for residents interested in hair disorders. All speakers are authors of multiple publications about hair loss and trichoscopy. Following the course, the participant will be able to perform trichoscopy and improve differential diagnosis of hair loss.
