Ukraine - Congress 2024 Scholarship

EADV will continue its support of Ukrainian colleagues by providing access to the 2024 EADV Congress in Amsterdam, whether for virtual participation or attendance on-site

Virtual attendance

The EADV will offer free access to the 2024 EADV Virtual Congress Platform during the event (25 - 28 September) and until 31 December 2024.

Mandatory criteria
  • Must be a Resident/Trainee, or Specialist in Dermatology and/or Venereology
  • Must be currently working in Ukraine (at the time of the application) or had to leave Ukraine due to the war
  • Applicants must have adequate knowledge of the English language to follow scientific discussions.
Required documentation
  • EADV active members (2024 membership dues settled):
     no documentation required
  • Non-members:
    • A short CV in English (not more than 3 pages)
    • A current copy of the applicant’s dermatology/venereology training certificate in English indicating the start and end date or dermatology/venereology specialist certificate
    • A copy of ID (i.e. identity card, passport)

Face-to-face attendance

The EADV is offering 15 scholarships for by those participants travelling to Amsterdam and joining the Congress in person.
These scholarships include complimentary registration and a travel reimbursement of EUR 1’000.

Mandatory criteria
  • Must be a Resident/Trainee, or Specialist in Dermatology and/or Venereology
  • Must be currently working in Ukraine (at the time of the application) or had to leave Ukraine due to the war
  • Must have adequate knowledge of the English language to follow scientific discussions.
  • Must not have previously received this scholarship
  • A preference will be given to EADV Members and/or abstract submitters and/or speakers for the 33rd Congress
Required documentation
  • A personal motivation letter in English (5-10 sentences), specifying what are the reasons that are motivating you to attend the event
  • A short CV in English (not more than 3 pages)
  • A letter of support, written on official headed paper, signed and stamped, written either by the training director/ head of department, hospital or clinic endorsing the application
  • A current copy of the applicant’s dermatology/venereology training certificate in English indicating the start and end date or dermatology/venereology specialist certificate
  • A copy of ID (i.e. identity card, passport)
