EADV Task Force Urticaria / Angioedema
Mission
The Urticaria Task Force aims to advance the understanding, diagnosis, and management of urticaria through collaborative research, consensus-building, and education. It strives to harmonize clinical practice, improve patient outcomes, and address unmet needs by integrating scientific evidence with real-world clinical expertise.
The Urticaria/ Angioedema Task Force aims to advance the understanding, diagnosis, and management of urticaria through collaborative research, consensus-building, and education. The Urticaria Task Force pursues its mission through the following activities:
- Developing consensus definitions and recommendations
- Contributing to and supporting international guidelines and evidence-based clinical practice
- Initiating and coordinating multicentre research projects
- Designing and conducting Task Force–initiated surveys to address clinical gaps and practice patterns
- Organising and contributing to scientific sessions, workshops, and educational activities within EADV
- Promoting standardisation of terminology and outcome measures across studies and clinical care
- Collaborating with international networks to strengthen global impact
- Supporting knowledge dissemination through publications, newsletters, and digital platforms
- Identifying unmet clinical and research needs and proposing innovative solutions
