EADV Task Force Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer
Mission
The EADV NMSC Task Force aims to improve the understanding, management and outcomes of non-melanoma skin cancers across Europe. It promotes education, collaboration and innovation, and addresses unmet clinical needs and inequalities in access to care through coordinated scientific, educational and patient-oriented initiatives.
The NMSC Task Force brings together dermatology experts across Europe to develop collaborative initiatives in the field of non-melanoma skin cancers.
Its activities include:
- development of educational resources (e.g. EADV online skin cancer course and updates through short webcasts/podcasts)
- coordination of multicentric projects such as European surveys on access to innovative treatments and inequalities in care
- contribution to scientific programmes, guidelines and expert recommendations in collaboration with EADV structures and partner societies (e.g. EADO)
- development of patient-oriented communication tools (digital content, videos, awareness materials) in collaboration with advocacy groups
- identification of unmet needs in clinical practice, research and education
The Task Force also promotes the involvement of early-career dermatologists and encourages cross-Task Force and international collaborations to strengthen its impact.
