EADV Task Force CONTACT DERMATITIS
Mission
The EADV Contact Dermatitis Task Force aims to advance excellence in the understanding, prevention, diagnosis, and management of contact dermatitis across Europe. Its mission is to promote evidence-based practice, foster education and research, encourage multidisciplinary collaboration, and support harmonisation of standards to improve patient care and public health outcomes.
The EADV Contact Dermatitis Task Force pursues its mission through the following activities:
- Promoting education and continuous professional development in contact dermatitis for dermatologists and related specialists
- Supporting and initiating collaborative clinical and translational research projects
- Developing consensus documents, position papers, and practical guidelines in the field of contact dermatitis
- Contributing to the standardisation and harmonisation of diagnostic and management approaches across Europe
- Encouraging multidisciplinary collaboration with allergists, occupational physicians, toxicologists, and regulatory bodies
- Providing expert input to EADV educational events, congresses, and symposia
- Facilitating knowledge exchange and awareness of emerging allergens, exposures, and preventive strategies
- Supporting initiatives aimed at improving patient safety, occupational health, and quality of life
