EADV Task Force Paediatric Dermatology
Mission
The Paediatric dermatology Task Force aims to strengthen and structure the role of paediatric dermatology within the EADV by:
- Increasing the visibility and impact of paediatric dermatology within the EADV and beyond
- Deepening, updating, and disseminating high-quality, evidence-based knowledge in paediatric dermatology to all EADV members
- Developing and supporting educational activities (congress sessions, courses and webinars) aimed at dermatologists with an interest in paediatric dermatology
- Contributing to the development of clinical guidelines, consensus documents, and position papers in the field of paediatric dermatology
- Promoting collaboration and knowledge exchange between European and international societies and networks active in paediatric dermatology
- Strengthening networking and multidisciplinary collaboration among dermatologists and other healthcare professionals involved in paediatric skin care
- Stimulating and coordinating scientific research in paediatric dermatology at the European level
- Coordinating and facilitating joint European projects, including multicenter research initiatives

- Dedicated paediatric dermatology scientific content at the EADV Congress
- Annual paediatric dermatology sessions
- Joint sessions with other EADV task forces
- Invitation of internationally recognised paediatric dermatology experts as speakers
- EADV-endorsed paediatric dermatology educational activities
- Development of EADV-accredited courses and masterclasses in paediatric dermatology
- Creation of a paediatric dermatology track within the EADV School of Dermatology
- International collaboration and networking
- Formal links and joint initiatives with international paediatric dermatology societies (e.g. ESPD, ISPD)
- Exchange of speakers and shared sessions at international congresses
- Promotion of cross-border collaboration between European centers with paediatric dermatology expertise both in care and research
- Knowledge dissemination to the wider dermatology community
- Development of EADV position papers, consensus statements, and guidelines in paediatric dermatology
- Regular paediatric dermatology sections in EADV publications and newsletters
