EADV Task Force Office management

Mission

Activities of the Office Management Task Force:

  • Long-standing involvement in the EADV
Office‑based dermatologists have been active within the EADV since its foundation, consistently supporting the Academy through their membership and contributions to the scientific programme.
  • Representation and community building
The Task Force is privileged to represent office‑based dermatologists and aims to serve as a platform for exchanging professional medical experience and fostering networks across Europe among both specialists and trainees.
  • Contribution to the scientific programme of EADV Congress
The Office Management Task Force regularly proposes topics relevant to office‑based dermatologists in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment, including:
    • integrated dermatology practice within multidisciplinary teams
    • new models of cooperation between private practices and hospitals
    • transitioning from a solo practice to a successful dermatology centre or hospital setting
    • evolving patient expectations and demands
  • Patient‑centred focus
The Task Force maintains a strong focus on patient needs and collaborates closely with the EADV Advocacy Task Force.
  • “Visit my Practice” initiative
The Task Force invites all office‑based dermatologists to participate in the “Visit my Practice” programme, which offers the opportunity to visit a colleague’s private practice during the EADV Congress events.
These visits provide a friendly environment for exchanging professional ideas and engaging in stimulating discussions.
