Hyperhidrosis management

Hyperhidrosis has substantial prevalence among the general population and a significant impact on patient’s quality of life. Its management remains a major challenge and it is down to dermatologist to evaluate each patient individually and decide on the therapeutic protocol.
In Andreas Syggros Hospital, which is one of the oldest Dermatology Disease Hospitals in the whole Europe, exists a Hyperhidrosis department since 2004. Our team is following a large number of patients with hyperhidrosis, evaluating epidemiology trends, disease severity, and impact on quality of life. Various individualized treatment modalities are offered to improve the unpleasant symptoms of the disorder. In addition several scientific publications from our department testify to our intention to innovate and contribute to the scientific knowledge on hyperhidrosis.
