Job description: Membership and Registration Coordinator

 

 

 

Essential/Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Assists with membership applications
  • Assists with managing invoices and payments
  • Manages and supports the individual and waived registrations
  • Assists with all grants & scholarships applications
  • Sends confirmations, invitation letters and reminders for various deadlines
  • Manages back-office activities and assists with the registration area supervision and trains/assists temporary staff in the registration process during the events
  • Organises shipments in conjunction with the Industry Services and Events Department
  • Assists with the preparation of the final congress report
  • Updates information relative to members or delegates in the database

 

Required skills and Education:

 

  • Excellent command/highly proficient in spoken and written English; another language is a plus
  • Customer service oriented and problem-solving mind set
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel and Word
  • Ability to multi-task, team work and prioritize
  • Ability to work with a database

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in administration, events management or relevant field

 

Location: 

Full time position based in Lugano - Switzerland, occasional travel may be required.
